Google Moon Prize

that is if you can land a private space rover on the moon and beam back a gigabyte of images and video to earth. i think i am going to take apart my dad lawnmower and give it a go.

dad: omfg! what are you doing to my lawnmower!
me: i mean we are talking $30 million pops.

I can’t even imagine what it would cost to get the rover up there. Makes me wonder if the $30 million will just be a wash.

I can’t imagine that a company could do it for less than $30 million. The “prize” would up being a shitty stipend.
