World Clock

not sure if this is fascinating or depressing. this nifty online gadget shows real time accurate worldwide statistics and calculations based on credible (and listed) sources.

i find it interesting that there is an emphasis on death – but then again we all want to see a car accident. the two sections that shocked me the most were the military expenditures and total internet users. i am not sure if that military figure is US alone or the entire world but judging from the name i am going to assume the latter.

check out the world calculator page and if you look at the bottom you will see the life expectancy calculator. kinda grim – i might be lucky to hit 80. stress and smoke jumping didn’t help my odds.

while our world is being slammed like a whore house on nickel night, not everyone is part of the problem:

Carbon Footprint

No, it’s definitely depressing, but it’s the kind of thing that we should be aware of! To add another depressing figure to your stats, 1 in 4 girls under 14 in the USA has an STD. Yikes!

State Transition Diagram?

That is depressing… a quarter of the future women are going to be robots.
