confused about your halloween costume this year? don’t know what do to? nervous about showing up at the party and having everyone look at your like you failed miserably to come up with something creative?

have no fear and stop being a loser – just do this:

buy a 12 pack of canned beer (any flavor will work though the cheaper the greater the impact)
open one side of the box and leave the other in tact
drink all 12 beers <-- do not skip this step!
force the box over your head (some tearing of the edges may occur and this is okay)
align the box handles with your eyes so you can see
add sunglasses or a wig (optional)

BOOM! you are now ready to roll. you have a cheap, creative costume that everyone will want to talk to you about. and even if it isn’t creative and no one wants to talk to you then at least you will be good and drunk with 12 beers in your guts and you generally won’t give a fuck.

this picture of garett and i was taken in 2004. just before we got real old real fast. i was a nobody in the room but then once i put that box on my head everyone want to be my friend. duh!

went out of town with some friends this weekend. i was unplugged longer than usual and i had the best time ever. like ever.

chemtrails were in the sky…

we shot guns in madras…

we tried to find things to kill…

but we found nothing…

this was the first injury of the weekend… there were many…

we broke a ton of things including this iphone…

and this chair…

we almost got kicked out of this place due to brian’s never ending air guitar…

we golfed…

and lost like 40 balls… no joke.

these were just some select images from my iphone. i might post a couple of quality gems later on.

i celebrated my 30th birthday on saturday with a gaggle of my closest friends. we took over the sandy hut here in portland dressed up like obnoxious superheros. the regulars were into it for about 2 minutes. comedy. it was a shit show.

towards the end of the night costumes starting being swapped and cake was being thrown.

this was a regular of the sandy hut who was not happy about us being there. we took him real serious.

big ups to ryan and amy who dressed up just to send a pic!

i was tube sock wang man and while i wasn’t whipping my elongated crime fighter friend all over the place i was spilling drinks on myself. classy.

my wife tracy was barbarella and she was smokin!

julian tulips was there in spirit. he pulled a great group of people together and made the song below for me. it is unreal.

thank you julian. and thank you to everyone who made it to the party and dressed up. it was so much fun.

gas masks and grime

my good buddy brino printed off an enormous poster of the image below as a gift. 3 feet tall by 4 feet wide on photo paper. it is a picture of child size gas masks from the chernobyl disaster – which if you haven’t brushed up on the subject in a while you should – it is a mind melter. the essence of tragedy.

and while this is a dark image, it is going up on my wall. i am trying to get graeme mitchell’s 5 foot tall used condom photo as well. what a gallery!

also, i was listening to the new annie nightingale mix on the way to work and mr. diggles got yet another shout out. warmed my heart. however i kind of feel that i have earned it considering i am #1 for i love annie nightingale and i am a true fan. she is boss. i included the mix below for download and listening pleasure. my mention is at: 23:18
