went to a portland timbers game last night with caleb and brino and it was pure pandemonium. this week pge park saw a record timbers attendance at a whopping 15,000+ people. the energy and crowd was insane. the timbers army didn’t stop chanting the entire time – even well after the game when the players went back to the locker room.

the trail blazers fans need to take note of this crowd. well actually nah, fuck the blazers – especially blaze.

since the portland freemason lodge was right down the street i had to swing by.

how i scored this chicka is beyond me. she snowboards, surfs, wake boards, wake surfs, paddle boards and pretty much every other sport that is on a board. i am getting more into it but i don’t think i will ever compete with her passion.

she spent the day on the boat with some of our close friends and they spent a while trying to get the perfect wave behind the boat – thus why they are freaking out when they figured it out. it all about speed.

and this video below was featured on buzzfeed. i have almost been hit by this crazy car. the dude in the scary clown makeup literally drives this beast while holding the monkey puppet. ha!

saw this on twitter today. someone said “go to bing and type in ‘how do i get’ and see what comes up first – comedy.

i actually like bing even though i don’t really use it that much. i am institutionalized to google. i think it is funny that microsoft is bribing people to use their search engine – read the story here.

in other news: it’s sunny in pdx! no clouds in the sky… well, other than chemtrails.

farewell tyler stenson

my good friend tyler stenson is having his last pdx appearance this friday at the aladdin thatre. i have known this guy for close to a decade now and he has continually surprised me with how talented he is. he signed up twice to compete for portland’s singer song writer of the year and he won it twice. he has at least half a dozen albums and has been consistently playing out for the last 7+ years. [tyler, feel free to correct my stats]

tyler is moving to nashville, tennessee since it only seems to make sense. he already has paved a bright future over there and i speak for all those that have heard his music – we will miss him.

i have had some of my best times at his shows. so, if you are not doing anything, then come this friday – and if you are doing something, then cancel it and come this friday.

i met channing frye at the end of september last year. we kind of hit it off right from the beginning. he is into computers and random shit and loves strange conversation which came as a surprise considering he is a professional athlete. throughout the last 8 months we have gotten closer and he has been kind enough to give me tickets to most of the blazers home games. before this season i had only seen 2 games in my life – and they were both against the denver nuggets.

tonight is his last game of the season and he is so excited he could shit.

thanks for the tickets this season channing! better get your guitar hero face on for i am going to shred you apart.

it was beautiful today. i got stuck in traffic so i took pictures of trucks. thus endangering myself and others on the road.

my first corporate job

my first real job was at a place called abtech. i won’t go into too much depth of why it was totally dorky for the sake of pissing people off.

i will say this. i had just turned 23 and i had no idea what the hell i was doing. i was a sales consultant that would walk into small to medium sized businesses, assess their network needs, then sell them on an upgrade package to bring them up to speed. we would then deploy in house engineers that would come in and install and optimize the equipment.

i will always be thankful that they gave me the opportunity but now that i help run a company i look back and cringe. i guess the best word to use would be dated. i snagged this graph from their website since it always brings a smile to my face. i still have no idea what it means – and at the time, no one in house could explain it to me either.

oh yeah, i kept my business card too. the logo reminds me of a lesbian mercenary group that uses mostly up to date science to solve world issues. maybe mercenary doesn’t make sense. shit…
