i am audi hits 1 million page views

every few months we set some new personal goals for i am audi. they usually touch on traffic, content changes and throughput, design changes, etc. well one of our goals was to average over a million page views a year and today we officially have tipped over.

once we launch the new and improved models section and the store we expect this number to grow substantially.

tsa body scanners cause cancer – opt out

when i saw this story below i wasn’t surprised. you would think if the tsa is forcing us to stand in x-ray tubes they would have tested the absolute shit out of the machines to make sure they are safe for us. well, there is a reason they are not testing them and releasing the reports.

i travel a lot and i have only gone through one scanner which was at the denver international airport. the reason i went through was because they made a really big fuss about me opting out and i was late for my flight. the shitty part was that not only did i go through the scanner but they proceeded to give me the full pat down afterwards. the proverbial lose lose i guess.

while traveling lately i have been paying attention to how many people opt out and it is next to none. a recent study by cbs showed that in one hour over 600 people went through security at chicago o’hare and not a single person chose to opt out of the scanner. one other thing i have noticed is that kids usually under the age of 18 are filed to go through the basic metal detector and not the scanner. i have asked people at security why this is and they never give me an answer.

one thing about opting out that does piss me off is that they always give me a hard time about it when i ask. i usually get responses like are you sure sir, it is an invasive pat down… or my personal favorite it will take a while sir, we have to pull someone from the floor to assist you… – i don’t give two fucks what you have to do. it is my right to opt out so i could care less if i am a wrench in your operation. i don’t want cancer.

my encouragement is this: opt out – and encourage others to opt out. yes, you may get your parts rubbed up and down but it is better than what those cancer boxes are doing to your insides. also i think the higher the number of opt outs the stronger the message is to tsa that people aren’t taking it – even though the federal court ruled the naked scanners as constitutional. lame.

this is not good at all. this new law allows for any person in the us, regardless of nationality, to be arrested, detained without counsel indefinitely and thrown in jail anywhere forever. dark. this is so timely considering we are about to enter 2012.

from portland to seattle

i recently moved to seattle to move in with my wife jenny. this came as a shock to those closest to me because i often mention how little i care for the city of seattle. people always say that seattle is a lot like portland and i can’t disagree more.

the reason jenny and i decided to spend our first year of marriage here was because of the abundant job opportunities and i really needed to take a break from portland after a long, hard year. i am still working with webtrends and i plan on staying with the company indefinitely at this point to continue working on the agency partnership channel.

jenny and i are living in an amazing apartment with an amazing view right down town. i have a place to park and wash my car and the dogs have made the transition with no problems. we plan on staying here until the fall of 2012 and after that we may potentially move back to portland or choose somewhere else. either way i know i can’t stay in seattle for much longer than a year. the energy here is heavy but being around jenny sure makes up for it.

i thought i would mention this since some people don’t know that i moved. people like kim kardashian. yeah, she reads my blog.

prince charles + vlad the impaler

recently prince charles announced that he is a direct descendant of vlad the impaler. quite possibly the most terrifying person in history. read the story here.

this only helps the argument that the royal families of this world are decedents of reptilian bloodlines.

there has been a lot of speculation about this particular time magazine cover. the two things that stick out the most is the M over his head forms horns and the right corner features an owl which is the symbol of choice for the bohemian grove secret society.

to make the owl more significant, you can see an outline of an owl from a birds eye view of the whitehouse.

this shit is deep. stay away from prince charles – he will eat your face off.

on august 31st jenny and i decided to elope. we got married at the city hall in san francisco and didn’t tell anyone. after we got married we left for a 10 day trip to cancun which was pure bliss.

this is going to shock quite a few people considering the events that have taken place in my life in the last 12 months but the reality is that when you know you know and jenny and i thought why waste time?

i will be sharing more about this journey as things unfold but for now i just wanted to let the news out. jenny samppala is now jenny diggles. and i love this.

wtf is the fear index and why in the hell do we have it? well apparently it is called the VIX which stand for chicago board options exchange market volatility index – barf. here is a bit from wikipedia on the subject:

VIX is a popular measure of the implied volatility of S&P 500 index options. Often referred to as the fear index or the fear gauge, it represents one measure of the market’s expectation of stock market volatility over the next 30 day period.

interesting that stock market volatility is measured by straight up fuggin’ fear. this headline is priceless.

within the last week i have had at least 6 people say now is the best time to buy a house which just absolutely makes me furious. i literally called every one of them out saying are you nuts? do you have any comprehension of how totally fucked we are? – but that is just it. people only care about their own assets and their own existence with no concept of the generations it will take to clean up this mess… that is to say if we were actually trying to clean up this mess.

we are all so caught up in the moment of things and things are happening at such a rate that it is nearly impossible to piece together wtf is going on around us. however nearly impossible isn’t impossible. all it takes is the ability to stop and evaluate – oh and you also have to know what to look for.

i discovered this occult mosaic website about a year ago and have been following it ever since. this dude takes the time to string together the releases of news media and entertainment to help shape a lens around the ritual agenda put forth by the shadows that run the world. naturally if you don’t believe in the occult then this is all going to come across as really stupid. if that’s the case, no sweat – go here instead.

take some time to check it out. it is compelling indeed.
