the movie they live came out in 1988 and was directed by john carpenter. it is sooo good. here is the short plot by imdb:

A drifter discovers a pair of sunglasses that allow him to wake up to the fact that aliens have taken over the Earth.

i personally believe that this plot is real. shape shifters, reptilians and beings from another dimension have control of our minds.

i have watched this almost a dozen times. makes me think of what a 12 year old kid would come up with if he was handed an endless budget and a video crew. much like the movie battlefield earth. travolta’s finest moment:

i watch vanilla ice in cool as ice last weekend. while he is a dork in this movie, the music and dancing is effin’ rad.

go ahead and make fun of me. but can you name 3 dance moves that came out of the 2000′s? vanilla ice could move without a doubt.

i was never a die hard nightmare on elm street fan – and i doubt this version will change that. it doesn’t look at that compelling imo. younger people being startled by a claw at any moment is really all the trailer shows. i am interested in seeing what michael bay does with it. i imagine, since it takes place most of the time in a warehouse, there are probably a lot of explosions. which unfortunately are not scary.

what is entertaining is to put it up next to the original nightmare on elm street trailer that came out in 1984.

micheal bay was like: control c, control v – explosion – done.

my friend julian got me all hyped up on this flick. it is called paranormal activity and it has been around for a couple of years but only released in certain areas. now it seems they are trying to push it out everywhere.

the plot according to imdb:

After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban ‘starter’ tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to.

you can check out the official movie site – Paranormal Activity – where critics say nightmares guaranteed! which to me seems like a weird thing to want but either way i will see it.

i love this video. everything after 70 is my favorite. i love old people that are stoked to still be alive. if i get to my 80′s, i sure as shit will be.

my older brother grant got me the movie 300 for my 27th birthday. i watched it the other night and i can’t stop saying SPARTA!

well when the movie came out there were a bunch of random remixes online and some dude apparently sliced them and put them all together. yes… a sparta mega-mix.

um yeah… SPARTA!!!
