My name is Benjamin Cavanagh Diggles.

I am the web director + co-founder of db clay. I am 27, married + living in Portland Oregon. I don't have many reasons for keeping this blog. I love to talk about emerging web culture + how retarded the media is but mostly it consists of stuff that makes me smile.

I fear neckties + 2012 + I have mild OCD but I will always post, so please come back if you are interested in a little thing called fun. Feel free to leave a comment + not be an asshole. Chill, none of this means anything.
contact me if you want to.

joshua hoffine // childhood fears

Posted: June 8, 2008

this is best explained by the copy on his site:
i stage my photo shoots like small movies, with sets, costumes, elaborate props, fog machines and special effects make-up. i use hotlights rather than strobes, because they give me better fog effects as well as a warmer color shift. my images are not photoshop collages. i […]

stuck in the elevator… for 41 hours

Posted: April 19, 2008

this story is nuts. some dude goes out for a smoke break one night and the elevator gets stuck. he is then stuck for 41 hours. a camera catches the entire thing and for some reason it kind of stressed me out to watch.
i have mentioned this story to quite a few people and everyone […]

Posted: March 13, 2008

you hear about weird things on the news happening around the world. most of the news is unimaginable for most. school shootings, suicide bombings, john karr…
well, not to be a negative nancy but i am surprised there is not more wacky shit that surfaces. it’s out there - we just don’t hear about it.

what is eaten in one week

Posted: January 30, 2008

this is a collection of images my good friend trish sent me. i got a kick out of it.
it made me realize two things:

the abundance america has
the amount of waste each human produces each week.

don’t worry, i don’t think you are fat. maybe phat?
all in all, i am glad at least one person is smiling […]
