kind of a dorky video but hell, it had my attention the whole way through. this dude boasts that he is the worlds fastest clapper by showing his guinness book of world records plaque. nice.

my favorite part is about half way through his warm up he gets this little smirk on his face that is followed by a set of taunting eyes that say thats right bitches, here it comes…i call this the clapper crusher!

someday i hope i have some sort of performance that he attends. he probably gives mega props when the round of applause hits. omg yayer!

this kid is 3 and he is the finger paint master. i can’t imagine when he discovers drugs down the road and gets his hands on some brushes. that is when the real magic is going to happen.

boy – that sure is a healthy thing to say… however last i heard van gogh cut off his leg. it’s science really.

artist unveils $98M diamond skull

this is nuts. the artist damien hirst from the uk has covered a human skull from the 1800′s completely in diamonds. the only real part showing is the teeth. it cost him $20 million to make and it is now on the market for $98 million.

the day after it went on the market he already had 3 strong prospects that were interested in buying. the only catch in the purchase is that the buyer must have it somewhere for the public to view.

this is a pretty controversial art piece considered it is a real human skull and it selling for enough money to feed a thrid world country. however, that is kind of why i like it. plus this artist is famous for controversial work. some of his other installations are insane.

db clay “pocket art gallery” video

back in june of 2006 db clay had a pocket art gallery opening at local 35 in portland, oregon. it was a great time and we took a couple of video clips during the night and here they are. i decided to throw some cool music to it using imovie. god i love my mac.

the event featured over 100 wallets hanging in the boutique. the majority of them were painted by local and national artists. widmer sponsored the beer and i sponsored drinking it. it was a good time.
