rfid to the rescue
October 5, 2009

this morning i decided to do a image search for rfid chip
and the results were fascinating.
i have seen a lot of stories online about people who have gone into surgery then later discovered that these have been implanted into them in various places without consent. creepy.
for those that don’t know, rfid stands for radio frequency identification and walmart is the single largest contributor to the research on this technology. they do this so that they can balance the supply and demand of your daily use. imagine your gallon of milk is almost empty, the rfid chip sends a message to their database saying hey, this asshole drinks a lot of milk and he is almost out so let’s adjust the order.
– naturally on a massive scale.
other complete nut cases, like myself, believe that at some point these are going to be the chips that the man uses to track us like sheep. thus why they are already in our passports and other forms of identification. no matter what you think, it is good to read up on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio-frequency_identification

every moment that goes by, these little shits get smaller. wowza.
enjoy your week world.

You’re not a nutcase. I think you’re right! We already use this technology to keep track of our pets… Why not for our kids? Hey, why not use this for our purchases? Should cut down on ID theft… Creepy, dude.

Like I needed another reason not to shop at, or even step foot in, Wal-Mart.

Sorry mate, I have had a couple of other people complain about that JS issue but I am lazy. I need to fix it. Please don’t let this effect your opinion of the Mr. Diggles standard.
Actually I don’t know what that is. Noticed you live in the tropics – is that cool all of the time like it would seem or is that cool like half the time?

I have that problem with comments erasing, too, but I figured out that when that happens you just right click in the text box and click undo and everything comes back.

Its not really that far off. Dogs have had that shit for years. And I think the main reason that walmart and big companies want that shit is so they can have exact inventory of what is in the store and where it is in the chain.
