michael bay takes on freddy

September 29, 2009

i was never a die hard nightmare on elm street fan – and i doubt this version will change that. it doesn’t look at that compelling imo. younger people being startled by a claw at any moment is really all the trailer shows. i am interested in seeing what michael bay does with it. i imagine, since it takes place most of the time in a warehouse, there are probably a lot of explosions. which unfortunately are not scary.

what is entertaining is to put it up next to the original nightmare on elm street trailer that came out in 1984.

micheal bay was like: control c, control v – explosion – done.

w0w, can’t believe you found this before i did… So i was a little skeptical about the M Bay thing, but he is just producing it, so hopefully he won’t have too much influence on it. Also, that they casted Jackie Earle Haley (Rorschach from Watchmen) as Freddy… AWESOME!!! If you haven’t seen Watchmen, watch it and you will know why he will be good.

Cheers to horror!

why dont they just do a s-ton of meth… that way they will never fall asleep and then freddy will die of boredom. i also think freddy is just pissed cause he has razors for hands and cant have any “alone time”, that would really piss me off too.

your comment is funny as shit. the best part about the meth is that even if they do fall asleep they are probably overdosing and won’t feel freddy dice them up anyway. plus they are already dead inside. man, this thread is getting dark.

Warehouse could equal a lot of explosions OR a lot of hiding and jumping out of dark corners… which is why I do not watch horror movies. My son actually jumped out at me once and I full out slapped him as a reflex. Parent fail.
