well, i am not sure if makeshift is the right term. untraditional maybe?

this is an online alarm clock that even works if you disconnect from the web. i think you have to set it before that happens. it comes with all sorts of cool sounds that will wake you or remind you that you need to be reminded.

the site is called kuku klock and while it is not the most wildly entertaining thing you have ever seen, it is still a pretty neat web concept. someone worked hard.
