well he is a badass considering how much he has achieved in his life.

tracy and i had an opportunity to meet john glenn and get our picture with him. he was in town a while back speaking at a portland state university benefit that honored tracy’s family. so i was the dorky boyfriend (at the time) that tagged along to capture memories. since tracy and i were engaged at the time john mostly talked to us about his wife so i didn’t get a chance to ask him alien questions. which i am sure he would have just loved.

i couldn’t quit thinking dude… you have been in space.

this video below puts his life in perspective… well, at least it puts a time stamp on it.

i will never forget his speech that night. it made me want to stop playing wii golf and go out and golf for real.

and yes, that makes no sense at all.
