i smell a revolt
March 18, 2009
just not sure if teabags are going to cut it. i know that i constantly bitch about the most obvious flaws in the system but things currently are so wack-attack that everyone is bitching. the multi-million dollar bonuses drawn from aig to the execs is some gnarly shit. that is like a royal middle finger to the american people saying yeah, we fucked you once so we figured we would do it again
– and what does this make us collectively feel about the man? well, lets review the obvious again:
- banks and shitty car companies fucked up
- everything we have been trained to
rely
on goes straight to shit, thus threatening the entire economy - the man steps in saying
if we don’t give these fuck ups more money we are royally fucked – but don’t worry, we will make sure we watch them like the movie eagle eye
- oh yeah, and the american people will have no say in how much money we borrow from the evil federal reserve
- and the american people have to pay it back – so while aig big wigs are getting bj’s on booze cruises, rest assured your children will have to pay for that +++++ interest
- we are still fighting a faceless war that has reached peak disapproval – probably due to the extreme void of information about it.
let us try an exercise – i just took a screen shot from cnn + fox news headlines for the day. count how many times attention is drawn to the war that has been going on for 6 fucking years:

i had to vent. i just don’t get it. i am glad more and more people aren’t getting it either. we need a good revolt. anyway you look at it, i am voting for palin in 2012.

most people don’t give a shit so long as their ipods still work and they can catch the latest episode of desperate housewives – soon to be named desperate america.
*sigh…

I’m starting to realize how beautiful the ending scene of “Fight Club” was, and I’m also wondering how long it’s going to take people to stop with the “Tea Parties” and someone actually gets the bright idea to blow up all the financial institutions to see if that saves our spiraling economy.
As for the war, the news stopped reporting it b/c the people were tired of hearing about how worthless it is and how much we are losing. Plus it helps that it is no where near us and we haven’t had a good attack on our soil in a while. Hell, out of sight, out of mind.
What we need is a terrorist attack that comes in and destroys all the fucking financial institutions that are screwing us. Unfortunately, all the terrorists are looking at the US right now and saying, “Fuck, what else can we do to them?”

love your spirit. not sure if terror is ever the answer. we just need more truth + less reliance on the establishment. i promise you – they will let you down.
everything is controlled using fear and it needs to stop. we need more fearless people.

Yo Diggles-
I found the link below super helpful in familiarizing myself with all the politico/financial rhetoric everyone is tossing around these days.

Give up a tea bag? No way! Do you know how much that would cost me?
