jenny got me to join crossfit with her about 6 weeks ago. to be honest it is kicking my ass but i am getting stronger. if you haven’t heard of crossfit you should check it out – it is a ton of fun.
i am working out at crossfit belltown in seattle and the people are rad… but let’s be honest, after most workouts i want to die.

If you’re deadlifting, I’d recommend trying out the mixed grip…it was super helpful when I did Crossfit. You can add a considerable amount of weight to your max with that grip..

Totally. This was the first time I had ever done a deadlift so I was working on one thing at a time. The 2 other dudes in my group used the mixed grip and lifted about 60lbs more than I did. One step at a time. Before you know it I will be deadlifting Kirstie Alley.
