how well do you know dia?
January 1, 2010
trust me, not as well as you think and not as well as you should. denver international airport is wack. the amount of weird shit in this video is alarming. all of the facts the lady is rambling off are the kind of facts that you have never cared about in an airport. but for some reason they felt the need to share them. note: even if you are not into this, please watch the end of the video. it is bizarre (4:15).
let’s make a list of shit they point out in this video. shall we?
- 4 busiest airports in the nation could fit inside DIA. 53 SQ miles
- can double it’s size.
- big and tough (?) largest in the world can handle and type of commercial airliner.
- 12 Million SQ Feet of concrete.
- largest solar farm at a commercial airport.
- mustang “gives one heck of a howdy to arriving guests” – made by an, unnamed, internationally renowned artist who died in an accident while working on the piece – don’t worry, the terrifying horse’s red eyes ward off evil spirits and will keep us all safe. – read more here about the strangeness and public opinion of the statue – ny times
- “If your not in the terminal or on the concourses, where else would you be?” – (4mins 15seconds) – this is where it gets weird.
- “Rest assured this theory is a myth, besides if it were true geraldo rivera would have sniffed it out…”
- click here to view DIA on wikipedia – where more weird stuff is covered.
to make things even weirder the video was posted by the airport on youtube and they decided to go ahead and put it up on september 11th 2008 (they couldn’t wait a day?). click here to check it out
digging around i found another cool website that covers the anomalies of the airport pointing out a few things i never noticed. the most impactful was the snake shape at the base of the swastika:
and to go a little further, in the center of the snake head if you zoom in on google maps you will see a pyramid. just doesn’t get any better than thissss.
this is not my first time talking about the denver airport. i highly encourage you to dig into this if you can put lady gaga and the la raiders to the side for a moment. it is the real deal. e v i l shit folks. the new world airport commission
– is there a degree for that?

click here for my past post on dia
again, i know people think i am nuts but it is kind of interesting how all of this fits so nicely together. even their fucking “welcome to dia” video is wack.
godspeed people.

being able to fit the four busiest airports into the dia doesn’t seem very impressive. it seems insanely inefficient. perhaps this is also a giant conspiracy to make everyone miss their flights.

DIA == disturbing American Government Project.
DIA finally replaced Stapleton on February 28, 1995, 16 months behind schedule and at a cost of $4.8 billion,[26] nearly $2 billion over budget. The construction employed 11,000 workers.[27] United flight 1062 to Kansas City International Airport was the first to depart and United flight 1474 from Colorado Springs Airport was the first to arrive.
$4.8 Billion dollars! The entire 21k mile passenger rail network in the United States receives less subsidy than that in 4 years of entire system operation.
…oh I could elaborate for days. It is no wonder America is in serious debt.

I agree, some serious weird shit going on there. I had a layover there last year and I wanted to explore so bad and find that capstone, but I asked someone where it was and they said it was on the outside of security and I didn’t have much time. Those snake and pyramid shapes are new to me, wow. It just keeps getting weirder.

Hello, I am amazed at the amount of hatred that is out there in regard to this airport. Watch ‘DEN is TEN’ on http://www.youtube.com/videosbyteresa. That will help shed some light.

Thank you for your comment. I don’t know if it is hatred towards the airport as much as it is identifying anomalies and the crooked mofo’s involved in the project.
