if you are a fan of ford then skip this post. ford sucks. it seems like every couple of years they are doing a recall of epic proportions. i think their biggest however was when the firestone tires were exploding or something like that.

well check out the newest recall highlights on cnn:

• earl mohlis says faulty cruise control switch caused fire that killed his wife
• ford denies the switch started the blaze; company settled mohlis’ lawsuit
• ford has recalled more than 10 million vehicles in past decade
• cnn in 2005 began airing investigative reports on sudden fires in ford vehicles

apparently there is a cruise control switch that is igniting and causing fatal fires in the cars. here is where i am stumped: didn’t ford come out with the model-t like a hundred years ago? how is it that ford has been manufacturing cars this long and still manages to make dumb shit mistakes? you would think they would be at the forefront of technology like other car company’s but instead they are just trying to not kill those that are willing to be loyal to an overpriced death machine.
