how it came to this is a story best told with a bottle of whiskey.

what! that is insane. awful. horrible news. from a loyal reader and official db fan, I am gutted on this, the fourteenth of October.

What? … I Feel Sick…

HERO // October 1st, 2008 // 9:35 pm

That’s unfortunate. I had been planning on buying a db clay wallet in the future when my current wallet wears out. I guess the future is now…

I’m deciding between the stampage black, the lace, and the tan suns.

Good luck with everything.

Nevermind. I went with one of the puzzle wallets. The blue one with black circles. Actually, my aunt bought it for me for x-mas. Which puts my streak of knowing at least one gift I will receive ahead of time at 12 years.

Adan // October 2nd, 2008 // 2:24 am

Dude! What gives????

Anne // October 2nd, 2008 // 9:10 am

Likewise…so I take it this IS permanent? :(

You guys did such rad shit over the past several years. Y’all were my first client I loved. I’m stoked our friendship will continue, because I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do from here!

Congratulations on what an amazing accomplishment db clay will always be!

Justin Kistner // October 2nd, 2008 // 2:25 pm

Oh man, I really feel like I’ve been stabbed in the stomach. knowing you guys are closing shop. My best friend got you to mail me a fantastic wallet which I have the pleasure of enjoying every time I need to swipe a card, lose some money, or look at pictures of my favourite person in the world.

Thanks for that wonderful gesture, and I hope that something new and fresh comes out of this.
