city mirage lasts 4 hours in china

June 27, 2011

i have never given any time to researching mirages. whenever i think of a mirage i think of the classic cartoon bullshit where some character is out in the desert and they see something of relief to only find out it wasn’t real. and the cartoon usually alluded to the idea that it was all in the characters mind. i.e. mirage = mind trick.

well how do you explain a mirage of an entire misplaced city that was seen by thousands and lasts for 4 hours? and why hasn’t a single major news station picked up on this?

everything i looked up online seemed to lead to a dead end. even though there are some alternative news channels giving attention to this there doesn’t seem to be any solid information. like – is the city unknown or is it a reflection or mirror of an existing city? can it only be seen from a certain angle? could you see people?

i kept coming across information on superior mirages which led me down a rabbit hole.

Mirage

my thought is that if an entire city appeared where is wasn’t supposed to it might draw attention to the idea of different dimensions and alternate realities. and my take is that the news will do anything to keep us thinking linear and three dimensional.

Sooo… Did anyone try to touch it? What happened when a boat sailed towards it? what it like a rainbow where you can never get to it?

Don’t mean to burst any bubbles here but the ‘optical illusion’ is just that the mist makes the buildings look at though they are floating. They really are there.

I had fun believing it for a second too though =(

No worries about bursting bubbles! Any info is great. I just found this article too this afternoon.
However, the dudes banner is pretty cryptic in itself. A pyramid A, the fact his name is close to annunaki (who were the fallen angels) and he has angel wings on. Then the light reflecting only on his right eye while the left eye is all dark. Then the lower third of the banner has design elements and symbols that are hard to make out.

Do I read too far into things? Most likely.
Do I have a propensity of creating things that are probably not really there? I’m sure I do.

But for some reason I feel compelled. Out of 10 things I shake a fist at – if only 1 of them is real than that is fucking terrifying. And I think I am pushing 90%.
