borders now has a 2012 wall

Borders 2012

i went to borders yesterday and i was in their religion section and this dude helping me out rambled off like 40 religions to choose from. most of which i had never heard of. i was shocked when i saw they had a wall dedicated to 2012 with a borders official 2012 sign. i asked the guy so out of all this shit why is this the feature – he had no idea.

i grabbed my half ass cell phone and snapped this pic. i used a photoshop action that made it look like a polaroid. courtesy of brino.

maybe people are starting to pop like jiffy. there have been end of the world theories but 2012 has got some noticeable traction. buy a bible – buy a gun.

if you have no idea why people are going bonkers then check out the 2012 theories on wikipedia. while the books featured at borders look wacky, they all kinda agree on the same thing. whoa.

Yeah, I heard about that. I think the main issue is that some ancient calendars are coming to an end- Chinese and Mayan at least. I also know that in Revelation it talks about the Anti-Christ putting an end to time and making a new system for dates/time etc. (I’m seriously paraphrasing here.) So if you want to go conspiracy crazy, if the 7 years of tribulation that the Bible talks about is at its mid point in 12/12 when the calendars end, that would make the beginning of the tribulation this June! Spooky. ;)

Apropos of nothing, can you write some kind of super smart html to spam this vote, or better yet, remotely take over the page?

To C (who I’m assuming is Channing)-

I voted for you to STAY. You are one of my favorite Blazers and I think you can bring a lot to the back up PF position. And I love that you love it here. I’ve seen you around town and it’s always a treat. Hope to see you back next year.
