i kinda feel like a punk talking about new cool shit i either purchase or am gifted. well, not a total punk. i recently received a play station 3 as a gift from one scott mitchell for helping him out on his website – iamaudi.com

he candidly asked me one day on the phone what do you want… what can i do for you? and I said well, i kinda want to get my hands on a play station 3 and he said done. – good man scott, good man. he went out and got me the 160gb model. he went all out.

but why ps3? you aren’t even a true gamer? – good point. in fact i have used the ps3 every night for the last 3 nights and i have yet to play a single game on it. the software platform built into this box allows me to ping my machines around my place and pull in media to my television. if i want to look at wedding photos with my wife, all i have to do is turn on my ps3 and my television. super duper! the only catch is that i had to purchase a small piece of software from a group called null river that allows me to specify what files I am willing to share. it is only $20 for the software and they also offer it for the xbox 360.

last night i drove out to fred meyer and purchased my very first blu ray movie. what movie you ask? tropic thunder – if you haven’t seen it then see it. the cast is flawless.

i was so excited when scott gave me the ps3 that i felt like this brilliant dysfunction child in the video below.
