a 13 year old girl lost her feet on the superman’s tower of power ride. jesus! the story highlights are enough to make your stomach turn:

• drop-tower thrill rides shut down at parks across the country, the ap reports
• girl’s feet were severed on ride at six flags kentucky kingdom in louisville
• girl, 13, undergoes surgery, park spokeswoman says
• ride drops passengers 154 feet at 54 mph, stopping 20 feet above pavement
• her feet were recovered by six flags staff and were sent to the hospital with her

that last highlight is my favorite. can you imagine being the new employee at six flags. hey jimmy congrats on landing the job! for your first duty we are going to have to have you go and pick up some bloody stumps.

if you didn’t catch my post a couple of weeks ago – i hate most rides. i will never go on the superman’s tower of power. i mean look what it did to batman!!!

while posting this i found a website called rideaccidents.com and it looks like i am not the only person who fears rides. someone has made a science out of recording these accidents since it boasts this website opened on october 17, 1996. on the home page. god i love the internet!!!
