ah… to be young and dumb

i used to be this guy. the picture below is proof.
my friend graeme and i as kids were all about the rivers and high bridge jumping. we had this one train trussel we used to go to that we called the clackamas special
. it was terrifying. it had 3 levels to it, each were extremely difficult and extremely dangerous to get to. the first level was 50 feet high, the second was 70 feet and the 3rd was 90. graeme jumped off the second tier and followed. i only did it once.
now i watch the news and like 10 kids drown a month during the summer.
wait, dude just jumped into the sort of shallow end? hahaha i hope he broke his ankle

I had a slightly more back-woods approach to these stunts. My childhood friend and I would jump out of a holly tree at 30-40 feet into a thick of scotch broom–hat and driving our bikes off a cliff into the river.
