well… what’s under your stove?
Posted: March 11, 2008

i have a thing for collecting dumb shit. well, i don’t really think it is dumb but without context some of it can be a little weird.
take for instance these three items above.
- a 70mm rem shotgun slug
- a .223 rem assault rifle bullet (i had to look it up)
- and a 6 year recovery coin with the serenity prayer on the back
well, when i moved out of my apartment recently i was instructed not to clean underneath my stove and that my landlords would take care of it. i told them that i may have some trinkets
underneath the stove that i would like to get back.
today i got a knock on my door and my landlord had an envelope with these items in it.
i started to explain that i collect weird things but i quickly gave up. i felt like a darsh. oh yeah… btw, you may find live ammo underneath the stove and a scripture coin.

It’s not the head of a torched barbi…but still holds the same “SWEET!” factor

There are certain things that it’s better not to try to explain…

Actually what you have there is a Varmint load for your .223 as it is a hollow point round. Rounds designed for assault rifles are steel core FMJ (Full metal jacket).
Do you by any chance live in a area with lots of gophers or coyotes?
Now just to be clear I am not some random redneck, I am a former programmer for the Canadian Armed Forces…

dude. too cool.
shows you know what i know about ammo.
i do know that i shot one of these bullets out of an AR-(something). I want to say 15?
It had virtually no recoil and put a perfect hole in the old lady i was shooting at.
don’t worry - she was already dead from the 8 gauge shotgun blast.
hell bound.
